Experienced: Minimum of 20 years paediatric physiotherapy practice, have each worked at the Royal Children's Hospital for over 15 years, are tertiary qualified, and comply with all necessary requirements including physiotherapy registration, working with children checks, police checks, public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance. They regularly update their skills by attending professional continuing education.
- Expert at integrating the child's treatment plan into the child's family life. The physiotherapists have families themselves, so understand the needs of busy family life. Toys and games are incorporated into the assessment and treatment of the younger child. The patients values, goals and preferences are integrated into the physiotherapy programme.
